Supporting your child

 

Building a solid foundation for our children is vital to enable them to grow and

develop their skills and knowledge in becoming proficient readers and writers.

Handwriting

At Cockle Bay School the children begin learning handwriting using ‘Casey the Caterpillar’.  This is a fun and engaging story about a little caterpillar and  is the bases for developing our children’s understanding of how letters are formed.
