We are so proud of our youngest members of Cockle Bay School. Not only did they have a fabulous time performing, but at the xsame time they learnt so much about performance dance and drama - acting, singing and dancing, they all achieved success. Having two casts opened up so many more opportunities for speaking roles. We certainly have a lot of talent starting so early in our children at CBS.
If you ordered a USB, it will be delivered to your child’s classroom before the end of term. We are very lucky to have had Dougal Laing professionally record our matinee for us, thank you! Thanks also to Rochelle Stansfield for editing and copying onto the USBs. If you would like a USB, it is not too late. Please send $8 to the office by 16 June in an envelope with your child’s name and room number, labelled USB - Junior Production.
A big thank you to Steve O'Brien and Mitre 10 Mega Takanini for organising materials for our amazing pirate ship. Plus Wannabes for dressing our main actors.
Lastly, I would like to extend a huge thanks once again for parents help from beginning to end - cutting, face painting, sewing, props and helping out your classroom teacher. It certainly added that extra touch to make the show so special. A special thanks also to our staff for their full support.
Next time there is a production update, it will be about our senior production which is in November.... Exciting!
