Principal's Message 23rd August 2017
Written by Merle Campbell

Dear Parents,

BOT Membership
The school Board of Trustees is made up of the Principal (Dorothy); a staff representative (Rochelle Stansfield); three parent elected representatives (Shaun Galway, Andy McLachlan and myself); and one board selected representative (Jack Chan).
Jack has recently joined and is originally from Hong Kong, growing up in Wellington since the age of 12. He has two children at school now (years 2 & 3) and his youngest will be joining next year. Jack is part of the Australia / NZ senior management team at a NASDAQ listed IT Network Security Vendor, Fortinet.
Unfortunately, I have to advise that Barry Cornelius has recently left the board and we would like to thank him for his service.
The BOT has decided to further bolster its ranks of parent elected representatives and will therefore be holding elections in November. We will be looking to add one further parent elected representatives. This person will be a part of the board until full board elections are held in mid-2019.

Fam-Tastic Friday 8 December - 4.30 - 7.30pm
Our school family night this year is a Fam-Tastic Friday night, offering a mixture of entertainment by the children and for the children. Staff, students and the PTN are working together to make this a great night of fun and togetherness, with .... discos for the children, games and a bouncy castle, food to buy and items by special groups within the school such as Kapa Haka, choirs, marimba and rock bands to name a few.

Please mark it in your diary now to avoid disappointment.

Principal
