STAFFING 2018
This is the time of year when teachers look for opportunities to further their careers in education. At the end of the year we farewell the following staff whom we are sad to lose, but congratulate them on their successes and thank them for their considerable contributions to our school:

Mark Drummond, who has won a promotion to Bucklands Beach Intermediate.
Jane Ginders, who will become a Team and Curriculum leader at Howick Intermediate.
Jade Miles, who will be travelling overseas in 2018, but will return to us in 2019.
Rona Wulff, who leaves us to live in Waikanae, Kapiti Coast.
Jenny O’Hanlon, who has been a regular reliever and part-timer at CBS. Jenny has been teaching full-time for us this year, but has chosen not to work full-time in 2018.
Hamish Watson, who has won a teaching position at Owairoa.
Angie Bruining, who has won a position at St Kentigern Boys School.

Cockle Bay is fortunate to welcome to our staff:

Tess Wiltenburg, who we welcome back after a two year absence.
Michael Greenwood - Michael is a Beginning Teacher who previously completed part of his practicum with CBS.

THANK YOU:
To all the families who have assisted with our production of “Super Stan”. I hope you all enjoy the show!
To Sarah Laing for organising the working bee and all the wonderful parents who helped on the day. Many hands make light work and it was great to have such a good turnout of helpers.
