| Rugby CBS vs Elim Park |

On Wednesday 12th September Cockle Bay School went to Lloyd Elsmore Park to play Elim Park in Rugby. The weather was sunny but with some black clouds and luckily no rain. There were many games being played during the day so the atmosphere was excitedly noisy. As the game kicked off Deon made the first try within five minutes. Both teams were making tries as they displayed control and discipline. Mitchell W got 3 tries, which showed great individual skill, but to win by such a large margin was due to a strong team effort. It was a very long and tiring game but we beat Elim by 43/19. Elim played very well and had a great attitude. The result placed us 3rd in the league.
