Cockle Bay: 38 Willowbank: 17 On Thurday 27th July the Cockle Bay School Rugby team went over to Paparoa Park to play against Willowbank. Although, it was a sunny day there were lots of gray clouds which eventually produced a bit of rain. The game started out with lots of tackles and a couple tries from both teams. The game heated up just after half time with both teams putting in some fierce tackles. Both teams were scoring tries and making strong hits. The sounds of some the parents supporting were almost deafening but after a competitive game Cockle Bay won 38/17. Well done to Deon L, who scored three tries and received 'Player of the Day'!
