PTN NEWSLETTER

Dear Parents/Caregivers

Our Parent Teacher Network (PTN) plays a vital role in fundraising and supporting Cockle Bay School, and I would love to see more parents (both mums and dads), caregivers, and whānau get involved. Thanks to their fundraising efforts, the PTN has helped make our school a better place for all students, and we simply cannot offer all that we do without their valuable contribution.

Joining the PTN isn’t about taking on a big job. It’s about sharing your ideas and skills in a way that works for you. Whether you take on an executive role or simply help out when you can, your contribution is always appreciated.

Through the PTN, you’ll meet other families, feel more connected to the school, and see the real impact of your efforts. You’ll get to know me and other members of senior leadership as we work together to support our school community.

We’d love to welcome you.

Please feel free email me directly if you have any questions or wish to discuss being a part of our PTN: principal@cocklebay.school.nz

PTN Meetings

We can’t do the things we do at Cockle Bay School without the Exec PTN team and the “Friends of the PTN” parents who volunteer their time and share ideas at our PTN Meetings which are approximately every 6 weeks on a Tuesday at 7:30pm in the Staffroom. Everyone is welcome to attend, and we love new ideas so please come join us.

PTN AGM 2025
The 2025 AGM will be held at the following meeting on Tuesday 22nd July @ 7:30pm.
